A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's annual parish BBQ. Despite the weather, we had an incredible turnout, and the organizing team worked tirelessly to ensure everything we needed was provided. We truly appreciate your support! Congratulations to Lawrence Curran, Molly Wade and Cathy Regan of Our Lady & St Bridget's in West Calder who received the Archdiocesan medal from Archbishop Cushley on Sunday.The medal was awarded for their long service and dedication to the Parish in various roles over many years. The Archdiocesan Medal for Outstanding Service to the Church was established in 1975 by Cardinal Gordon Joseph Gray, Archbishop of St Andrews & Edinburgh. Over those 43 years, only 100 or so medals have been awarded for “outstanding voluntary service” to the Church at a local level. |
